Great stuff, for those starting off, I would probably do everything except for the labs (as the labs you'll need to get a lab kit). That's 17 freebie classes! You can add these to the cheapies/freebies to max the credits. These combined would probably complete the general education and electives for most, if not all, the institutions we recommend (and maybe even some parts of the major).
Note: I'll be merging your excess threads in regards to this StraighterLine one day special.

It's killing me that I only saw this today. Sigh.
What's the point of being on their mailing list if they don't tell me about promos like this? (I have never before enrolled, so I would have been eligible.)

Wow, I didn't know about this either as I never got anything from them in regards to this deal... The only way I got this deal was because the OP PM me and also created a couple or triple of threads and about 8 posts in regards to this deal. I cleaned up and merged their content right after telling family/friends about it...

thanks for letting me know. so frustrating because I checked the forum I think an hour before that post went up. oh well, life is full of lost chances hahaha.
But seriously I have been putting off taking organic chemistry from them because I have no idea what the class format is like because they don't let you preview stuff as extensively as Sophia and study.com do. getting an opportunity to at least see what the class structure is like would have been nice; if I liked it, I would likely be willing to pay for courses from them, especially since I'm not sure about completing two semesters of organic chemistry plus labs in 3 months

I wonder about transferability of Straighterline Organic Chemistry courses. They're not currently listed on the Straighterline transfer pages for a number of major destination schools. The courses have been offered since 2023, so they're not brand new. I would be surprised if a US medical school accepted alt-credit organic chemistry categorically.

They are transferable to TESU. I'm not going to med school.

I finished my English Composition 1 class and requested my ACE credits. The assignments were easy enough, and the grading was fair. While most of my time since activating the trial has been spent waiting for all four Capstones to be graded, I think this was a better option than doing it at Sophia.

I am starting to work on these courses since the promotion so I can knock off some general education requirements. I was wanting to double major in biology after getting closer to looking at the requirements and if Straighter Line Organic Chemistry transfers some of these requirements, I am so happy to know that they do transfer to TESU.

You'll need to double check with your advisor of course; if you enrolled under a different catalog than I did, the requirements may be different. If you do take Organic Chem, I'd love to hear about it!
