Ohio U (Credit by Exam) - How Long Does it Take for Credits to Transfer?

Hi All,

Just wondering how long it takes for credits earned via exam at Ohio U to transfer to TESC. Does anyone know?

I'm working toward my BA in English c/o TESC and am on the comprehensive plan (concluding with the Jun-Sep 2012 semester) so I'd like to get the credits in before then obviously, but want to wait until September to take the exam since that is when Ohio U will be changing over to the 3-credit/exam system.

I'm wondering if I take the exam at the very beginning of September if that will be enough time for the credits to transfer by the end of that month.

I find that it takes around 2 weeks for the credits to end up in my transcripts received queue at Excelsior College. The College can take up to 3 weeks to actually add them to my degree credits. The best thing to do is ask the people involved. They can usually give you a better idea. I would have to say that waiting until September might be a little risky.
