ALEKS Math Classes need for Trig of Pre-Calc?
#1
Hello,

I have just finished completing the following ALEKS:
ALEKS Intermediate Algebra
ALEKS College Algebra
ALEKS Introduction to Statistics
I also have Finite math from Pikes Peak (2002)

I plan on getting my BA from TESC now that my AGS is complete from Pikes Peak Community College.
I have not settled on a Major yet, but it will most likely be either a BA in Business, Human Resource Management, History, or Social Sciences.

My question is what degrees would I be restricted from if I don't take Pre-Cal or Trig? At this point I'm sick of math, but if I need Pre-Cal or Trig, I might as well get it done while the information is fresh in my head.

Any advise on this would be appreciated!

Thanks,
~Armyb77

I don't know about all the degrees but at TESC you wouldn't be able to get any Business degree, Bachelor's or Associates without Pre-calc or trig. You could get the History degree without it though.

Thanks for the feedback! I guess to leave my options open I might as well suffer through to get it done. Sad

You're welcome. I'm no expert by any means but if business is what you're leaning towards then you'll need pre-calc or trig. I wouldn't hurt you to have it, but I know what you mean about getting it done. By the time I was almost done with it I was ready for it to be over. Big Grin Good luck with it!
