I would believe it's based on the school you enroll in or are enrolled in. It is the school's discretion how they accept transfer credit. You could send all your transcripts to school A and school B and the two schools may award transfer credits differently.

ACE is an agency that makes recommendations for what college credits could or should be awarded for various alternative learning (trainings, certifications, etc). Most schools accept ACE's recommendations all or in part. Some do not.

I did do a search for the above information on this website and googled it but couldn't find any good answers which surprised me. would anyone happen to know these answers? I'm asking because I was wanting to go to graduate school and was wondering how they do that.
