ASNSM Math - Math Courses
#1
Quick question on math courses and grades. I'm getting a little burnt out on SDC quizzes, but I'm only one math course away from picking up an ASNSM Math along with my BSBA, so I don't really want to leave that on the table. I currently have:

In Quantitative Literacy, MAT-333 with a D grade (RA transfer)
In Math GE requirement, currently EMPTY.

Electives are full (all RA), with:
MAT-121
MAT-199
MAT-231
MAT-232
MAT-331
STA-201

If I take the CSM Learn for BUS210, will that work for Quantitative literacy, and my MAT-333 with a D move to the general maths requirements? Otherwise, is there a quick/cheap/easy source of a math course that doesn't duplicate? Looking for speed or a single test option, maybe from Saylor?

Thanks.

I am not much help in this regard, but trust me...nothing is quick in Saylor. My sons have taken and passed 5 courses on Saylor, and they are all very detailed and long.

What about the MAT-105 Applied Liberal Arts Mathematics TECEP? One test, over and done with, and it fills the Quantitative Literacy slot: https://www.tesu.edu/degree-completion/e...cep-credit
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:

That might be a good option. As long as the D grade won't stop the MAT-333 from going to the GE Math slot, that might be the answer. Or CSMLearn, because I'm not in danger of hitting the 90 credit ACE/NCCRS cutoff so I can take a small breather and do that.

Thank you, but I was planning on just attempting the test cold, since I feel pretty good about my Math background. It looks like the two Saylor Maths duplicate anyway.

"D" grades won't work in the AOS, so that will be moved to the GE area anyway.

Right. Its already in quantitative analysis, I just wanted to make sure it would be fine in the mathematics GE requirement as a D.

I (temporarily) registered for the MAT-105 TECEP and it filled my quantitive analysis and bumped my D-grade MAT-333 to the GE Math requirement on the eval, so that's probably what I'll do. Thanks.

Here are all of the options I know (that haven't been mentioned yet):

ALEKS $20 - I think this is your best option, you could probably finish it tonight
Precalculus OR Trig OR College Algebra with Trig >> MAT-129 (I think it's a single test if you score above a 70% on the initial knowledge check at the beginning)

Davar $99
MAT-202: Mathematics for Business >> MAT-119

DSST
Fund of College Algebra >> MAT-115 (Int. Alg)
Math for Liberal Arts >> MAT-105

Coopersmith $150
MAT-103: College Geometry >> MAT-260?
MAT-301: Concepts in Math and Quantitative Analysis >> MAT-303
MAT-303: Quantitative Analysis >> unknown
MAT-305: Linear Algebra >> MAT-321

UExcel exam $110
BUSx437: Quantitative Analysis >> unknown
