I apologize this isn't clep related but, what are some good resources to use to prepare for the accuplacer math test? The goal is to do well enough to test out of general ed math for my degree. Thanks !

I've had my girlfriend go through the openstax books to prepare. It takes time though. I started her out in pre-algebra and then onto elementary algebra. She did the entirety of both books; it took her about 3 weeks each. 

Now, she is on the front end of openstax College Algebra. It's free and it works.

Maybe someone here has more of a "short-cut" method... although I must warn you, we tried that already. 

Each time we tried a shortcut, she hit 2-3 hour long roadblocks. I realized that she needed to go through the entire book in order to build a true foundation. It's lots of work -- but still faster than sitting through a math class with an instructor you can barely understand.

Accuplacer won't allow you to test OUT, rather it allows you to test IN to a math level. If you want to test OUT of a math, then CLEP works if your college accepts it.
