"Participants should be 24 or older, have the equivalent of a high school diploma, and some prior college credit and/or work experience."

You need to have 2 years work experience. That seems to be what they really go with. I believe there have been people on here under 24 who attended UMPI.

I'm pretty sure that there have been students aged 20-22 who have already applied to UMPI and who have either already finished their YourPace degree or who are in the process of finishing it.

I dont have any work experience is that going to be a problem?

I wouldn't worry about the age, being 19 is great, you're starting off... since you can't apply until you're 20 and 2 years out of high school, I would just focus on taking CLEP/Modernstates.org exams and/or Sophia.org courses that can transfer into a Bachelors at UMPI (if that's your desired school).
There is no need to rush, find some courses that interest you and take them first... YourPace is 20 years old. Don't worry about work history they do not ask you to verify it.
Do not trust anything on catalog.umpi.edu only trust online.umpi.edu. Many of their 2-3 year old info is on the old website and are pages that don't get updated.
