Ok, I am in the middle of Aleks Intro to Statistics. I am pursuing BSBA at TESC. I have read that this Aleks course will count as STA201. I have also read that if I take the Saylor Business Statistics, it will count as OPM351. Aleks Business Statistics would be a duplicate of Intro to Statistics. Any reason to still take this, like free elective credit? Here is my main question, I know that the Aleks Behavioral Science statistics is also a duplicate for statistics STA201, but I saw that it would count as a Natural Science course for gen ed. Is this correct? If I have all 3 of these courses, would it count this way?
Aleks Intro to Statistics = TESC STA201
Aleks Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences = TESC Natural Science
Saylor Business Statistics = TESC OPM351
Thanks for the info.

For the BSBA at TESC, all of the ALEKS statistics courses duplicate. You can't have duplicate course numbers count in different areas, so even if you did not need it specifically for the degree, you couldn't put it in IPS AND Natural Sciences. It only fits into your degree plan once.

As already said, all of the ALEKS stats courses are STA-201. That means they are all seen as the same course by TESC. STA-201 is always a natural science or IPS no matter which ALEKS course you use to complete it. Unlike COSC, TESC will not let you fulfill two requirements with one course. The only time duplicate course codes are allowed is for special topics courses that don't have an exact equivalent such as XXX-199, XXX-299, XXX-399, and XXX-499. These are generic course codes.
