All,
I'm seeing a bunch of new acronyms for classes and schools that I know nothing about. I assume that means that these are foreign to a lot of people... let's please make this thread as a source of info for as many of these as we can.
The discussion: What classes have you taken (please do NOT discuss DSST, CLEP, ECE, or FEMA) that would be interesting to the group? Please give as much detail of the class as well as the actual program or organization. Example: "I took Accounting I & II through PENN FOSTER because.... They were accepted by EC for my Business degree ..... and Penn Foster itself is great because.... and to register, go to http....."
I hope we can make this thread just as helpful as the 'Easiest Exams' thread!
For whatever you name, please give as much of these as possible:
-How it works
-Costs (including if u purchased books)
-What u like/hate
-Credit transferability (to which programs at which schools?)
-Your perceived degree of difficulty
-How long it takes

You can't fail if you never give up

CLEP-Analyzing & Interpreting Literature: Scored 57; Feb 08
DANTES-Criminal Justice: Scored 54; Jan 08
DANTES-Fundamentals of College Algebra: Scored 47 (and 47 is the req'd pass score! ); Jan 08
