Are College Algebra and Trig courses the same, or does it depend on the school?
#1
Poring over my eval from TESC at this time, and it just hit me that besides my two introductory English courses possibly overlapping, my College Algebra and Trigonometry classes (each from two different CCs) may also overlap, at least looking at the way Math requirements are measured in TESC.

I also looked over in the Degree Forum wiki page here: Sanantone's General Education Options - Degree Forum Wiki

And some courses note that they duplicate one or the other.

I'm not too worried in the case of duplication, but are these two subjects truly so similar? It's been years since I took Trig, but I definitely don't recall seeing much of it in College Algebra, which I took last year.

Thank you all.
