I could not determine if Excelsior issued a letter grade and included SL courses in their GPA calculations.
If those with experience transferring courses to Excelsior would elaborate on how Excelsior handles them that would be most appreciated.
Also does Excelsior issue a letter grade to courses transferred from other sources (besides exams)?
Thank You,

This is a reply I got few days ago from Excelsior college. "Straighterline courses come with a letter grade and must be on an ACE transcript. This is true for OneTranscript as well. DSST exams are given a Pass/Fail. "

From Excelsior webpage:
Excelsior College | Grades Awarded by Excelsior College
Each student will have two GPAs calculated:
⢠The Excelsior College GPA (EC GPA) is based on grades recorded for all Excelsior College courses, Excelsior College Examinations, and UExcel Exams taken after matriculation. The EC GPA cannot be modified by removing grades earned from Excelsior College sources of credit.
⢠The Overall GPA is based on letter grades (other than P for passing) for all courses and exams and other sources of credit that are entered on the student's transcript.
