Associate capstone

I am pursuing a cybersecurity associate at TESU.
Does the degree have an associate capstone?

I do not see an associate in cybersecurity listed in the big list of degrees, in the list of online degrees, or in the student degree planner. Do you actually have this degree on your degree plan?

My bad, it is the AS IN COMPUTER SCIENCE.

It accepts all TEEX courses and other comouter courses I have taken so far. But unlike other associate degrees I do not see any associate capstone.

Oh, yes, there are a handful of associate's degrees that do not have a capstone. These include:

ASNSM Computer Science
ASNSM Mathematics
ASNSM Biology (but Biology II w/ lab is a bit difficult to get so it might as well have a capstone)
AS Business Administration (ASBA)
AAS Criminal Justice

Of these, it's usually relatively easy to get the CS or Math associate's for free when you graduate with a bachelor's degree.

You could go for the Bachelor's degree with Associates as a backup plan.

You will have time to decide by the time you complete the courses you need for the Associates.

It is not a matter on how much, it is a matter of timing, credits I already have and what I can get at the moment.

If I can get 2 associate degrees with one residency fee, that would be awesome.

Rather have an AS now, than never achieve a BS.

Are residency requirements the same for AS as for Bachelors?

That's exactly what I would recommend you to do, get two associates, but that would not be at TESU. You can grab two at COSC for the price of 1 cornerstone, that is if you already have some RA credits. Another option is to get the BOG AAS if you already have the 12 RA credits needed. These associates can be added to a Bachelors later on, thus saving you cash now. If you copy/paste your list of credits, we can create an action plan for you... you can then work on remaining credits if any are missing...

Update: And to answer your question in regards to "Are residency requirements the same for AS as for Bachelors?" Yes, they are. You need to complete 16 credits to get rid of the residency waiver fee. If you have two terms, you can try to finish all 16 so you don't have to pay for a residency waiver for the Bachelors degree going forward. Otherwise, the Associates/Bachelors residency waiver fee currently is $3192 and it only lasts for about a year. TESU says the following in their residency requirements:

For associate degrees the requirement is 6 credits and for bachelor’s degrees the requirement is 12 credits.

Have not looked at COSC. Don't rhey charge sememster fees while one waits for them to process transcripts?
