Asu mpa?
#1
To post, or not to post: that is the question:
Whether 'tis more informative to share
The embarrassment of applying w/o likelihood of admission with by peeps,
Or to remain quiet until I hear the results of an appeal after certain rejection.
And by sharing, encourage others....

Okay, enough with the soliloquy. Today I submitted an application to Arkansas State University's MPA program. Do I even want to attend? Is there an ROI? Will my fear of writing cause me to fail? It's a gold-plated certainty that once ASU sees my GPA, they'll deny my admission, then I'll need to appeal. I'm not even sure how they handle appeals, or what likelihood I would have of convincing them to take a chance on me. Would I be better served by getting a paralegal certificate or degree? Maybe go back and do something in accounting.

Well, I figured I'd post in case anything comes of it. Should I (eventually) be admitted, I can share the craziness of the coursework with all of you knowing that some of you will come to my pity parties when it looks like it's all too much.

I think a poster who starts his message with a soliloquy shouldn't fear writing. Smile

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.
