Thinking of trying to conquer the BA in history. Just wondering does UMPI accept Study.com's Western Civilizations classes or not? On the DF UMPI BA History Degree Plan, it list SL's Western Civilization classes only for credit approval.
In all this time I've never even taken a Study.com or SL course. Of those two which course provider is easier and quicker?
Has Degree Forum's UMPI BA History Degree Plan still been currently working smoothly for most students? Or has there been some major changes?

I just checked the tranfer equivalencies page in the UMPI student portal and they accept both WC I and II as history electives.
HISTORY 101
Western Civilization  I

HTY 1XX
History Elective
3.00

HISTORY 102
Western Civilization II

HTY 1XX

You need to use Straighterline for them to actually count for the required 2 classes. Study.com just brings them in as electives. SL was easy enough (2 exams), but I already had an extensive knowledge of the general time period.

Which is essentially useless for what OP needs.

Alternatively,
the Western Civ CLEPs will count for the required two classes.

Thinking Modern States would be the cheapest option for that ?

Depending on what you need, want, and method you would like to accumulate your credits, it may go differently... For example, if you're wanting a test out option with some studying, CLEP/ModernStates is free when you get reimbursed.
Having said that, if you already have a Study.com subscription, you can blast through these classes easier, faster, and with an unlimited amount of classes (two at a time), you can get more classes completed for that one monthly subscription.
Simple example, you have 3 specific classes you want take during your subscription, finish those first, and take the two West Civ's as freebie add-ons, as again, you can take as many classes you need or want during your subscription period...
