BALS Natural Sciences/Mathematics Clarification

Thank you! [Image: biggrin.png]

See https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...egree_Plan for examples.

Most Psychology courses do not count for the NSM concentration. You need 18 credits that fit under NSM and the remaining 6 credits may be Psychology if that's what you want.

This is not at all the case, and never has been that I can remember (Excelsior used to require 2 subject matters, but I don't think TESU ever did).

For a BALS, 18cr must be in the concentration, but the remaining credits can be in anything in the Liberal Arts.

I'm pretty sure that some students have come (back) here for help when TESU told them that they needed at least two subjects in their Lib Studies degrees. But trying to find those posts on this board is... tricky.

The NSM option is a good choice for those who want to take multiple science subject courses in the concentration, you can have Bio, Chem, Comp Sci, Physics or whatever else that floats your boat (that is considered a science course at TESU). It's probably the best option for people who want to mix/match multiple subjects, but really there isn't a need to have that many, a couple or at most three would be great. The hardest part is finding the UL for cheap, only cheap ones so far are the Comp Sci option...

I've been planning degrees here for over 10 years, and also do it for a living for TESU, and that has just not been the case.

But even if it was, there is almost no way to rack up the 45cr in a single subject anyway, at least not with 18cr of UL thrown in as a requirement.
