I wonder if it is accepted for the plain BALS and not for BALS with social science concentration
Thanks Rachel,
As soon as her transcript reaches Acclaim/Credly we will send it. She worked her butt off this week and completed two classes (TEEX and SL). The SL is no longer needed and TEEX, well they are saying no..but we'll keep pushing.
Hoping it's an error and not a change. Both do happen though. Last year TEEX Death Investigation Online (FSA 114) transferred to TESU as AOJ 340 and was counted in UL for BALS
TEEX Death Investigation just arrived at her Credly account and has been sent to TESU. We realized that we could not send just one course, we had to send the entire transcript......22 classes..ooooppsss

Does anyone know that TEEX Death Investigation will transfer to UMPI as upper-level? Is it 3 credits upper-level? Because in the description it says "Continuing Education Units: 1 Hours" so I just wonder what it means. Thanks a bunch!
Sophia.org: 74 LL credits
TEEX: 13 credits (3 UL + 10LL)
ACTFL: 24 credits (12 LL + 12 UL)

Ignore the continuing education units listed on the TEEX courses. That number is not related to college credits.
TESU Class of 2024 BSBA-CIS+GM, BSIT, ASNSM-CS+Math, AAS-GEN
Earned credits from Sophia, SDC, ASU ULC, TEEX, Microsoft, Strayer, TESU, Saylor, DSST, CLEP, CompTIA, StraighterLine, and others since starting in April 2020

@Mitmike2019 , Transfer the TEEX into TESU and create an academic evaluation using the What If tool, it'll show you if the course is usable or not. I wouldn't worry too much about it until something comes up, I haven't heard anything about the course being removed from their list or downgraded.
In regards to completing the HRM course, she can, but it will not go into the degree plan. I suggest completing that course anyways for the knowledge, not the credit. If she's using that month subscription to finish an UL course, find something that she's interested in and complete that course instead.
@park0902 , The TEEX course is ACE recommended for 3 UL credits, all schools have their own internal database (if any) that will either follow the recommendation or have its own assignment/equivalency. Most schools follow the ACE recommendation and some evaluate it themselves in addition to ACE. It should be accepted as UL at UMPI.

I haven't seen anyone transfer TEEX courses to UMPI. 3 credits doesn't make a class UL. It's a LL course according to ACE. Continuing Education credits are not ACE credits nor are they what universities use to determine the number of credits to apply. It's for certificates and licenses that require continuing education credits annually.

It's a LL course according to ACE. UMPI does not go by ACE's ranking of UL or LL.

I just checked the transfer equivalency website at UMPI and no one has transferred in TEEX classes.

@ss20ts: Thank you. I'm just quoting AllThose299s. I think you're mistaking between the 2 different classes.

Keep in mind bjcheung has never attended UMPI. I have and I looked at the transfer database. Nothing from TEEX is on it.
