Yesterday I was informed students pursuing the BAS are not subject to UMPI's 20+ age restriction for their Your Pace program. Can anyone confirm this? I am 19 and understand I could obtain an AAS at Pierpont with my Sophia credits since I graduated high school over two years ago. Thank you

The BAS isn't technically a YourPace degree. UMPI has a lot of in-person degrees that anyone can obtain, except they're more expensive. You still have to be admitted to YourPace first and then you're allowed to switch to the BAS if you qualify.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

As I mentioned in a previous post... By the time you finish the requirements for the Pierpont BOG AAS, and also take some freebies from Coursera/ACE credits, you'll already be 20. You can apply for the session that starts in March, transfer the BOG AAS and go for the UMPI BAS instead of the BLS, you will need 40 technical credits that you can completely entirely with the freebies from Coursera/TADA/TEEX.
