Hi all

Anyone familiar with Brainbench?

Do there certificates value any college credits?

Are they recognized by the big 3 schools?

ThanksRolleyes

I'm assuming you are referring to Brainbench.com. According to their website,

"Brainbench assessment products predict employee success:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Personality
Past Work Behaviors
Interview Guides
Certifications
Consulting Services."

This doesn't exactly sound like an academic enterprise, depending upon what "certifications" are offered. It seems like it's more of a human resources organization that offers testing to screen applicants.

This organization is not an educational institution, nor is it ACE accredited. It doesn't look like you'd be able to get any credits for this one.

Brainbench sucks! I got like 30 certs when they first came out about 8 years ago or so.
They became greedy and started charging. Im surprised to hear their name to be honest because no one in the computer field even knows them or takes them serious. I mention the computer field because this is where they started with certs.
Stay clear of them. Try Aleks for math so far and the Cleps everyone here speaks of.
