Bright Horizons EdAssist
#1
I am in the final stretch of my degree plan, so I was trying to find out the particulars of my company's tuition reimbursement. I have access to Bright Horizons EdAssist with a company set limit of $12k a year towards a bachelors degree. Anyone have experience on how to get them to pay for a flat rate semester at TESU? Obviously the $12K is overkill for TESU, but I am not sure if they will do the flat rate so I can speed run the courses, or if I am stuck doing single traditional course options.

Yeah, most of the time, it's either them (EdAssist) or Guild that people have for tuition assistance or reimbursement... You just use up the flat tuition rate with them. Essentially, it's just asking to 5 courses for that flat term, you provide them the cost and details of the courses, etc. Fill in any applications as you need from the company you work for or EdAssist themselves. The main thing you have to ask them is 'when' you can use it. I suggest if you're close to graduating, use it for this year, if you're not that close, then use it for next year.

I have used EdAssist for WGU and South College CBE programs which are also "flat rate" tuition.  In these situations, I simply divided the tuition by the number of classes and used that result as the cost per course.  Just make sure it adds up to the final amount, and they should approve the application.
