CLEP College Algebra
#1
Hello,

I am needing to test out of QL or General Ed Math in order to graduate in the spring. I struggle at math but, it has gotten easier while working with the Aleks program the past couple months. Overall how difficult is the Clep College Algebra course and is 2-3 weeks studying enough to pass it?

Let me know and any tips on where to focus my studies as well would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Smile I've had someone who has experienced this subject. He CLEPed and earned a 61. But he says it's a rather moderate exam if math is sometime you're "balanced" in. If you're good at it I would say go ahead but be aware of studying for 2-3 weeks because sometimes it's not enough just speaking from experience. I can try to conjure up some resources if that's ok with you?

Not a TESU master, but they used an ancient math course from my JST for QL (came in as MAT 101), so not sure you need college algebra....might as well go easy (plus I think the math clep is 6 credits).

What school are you going to? Does the test have to be College Algebra? Because College Math is the easier CLEP test. An even easier test is DSST's Applied Liberal Arts Math. Can you take that one?

I am checking now if clep college math would count. It lists a dsst exam called intro to statistics as an option. Has anyone heard of that exam?
