JavaOnline.org: College Credit Recommendations: National CCRS
I asked for the equivalencies of the Javaonline.org courses, but was told that NCCRS courses can't be pre-approved. I didn't want them to be pre-approved, but I guess since they haven't been evaluated yet, they won't bother with evaluating them until someone sends them a transcript. Searching the PLA database, I'm assuming that the courses will fall into one of these categories.
CAP-252 Java Programming
CAP-387 Advanced Website Development
COS-208 Java Programming
COS-218 Advanced Java Programming
COS-220 Advanced Java Programming
Their courses also cover MySQL, HTML, and data structures. I haven't decided if I'm going to take the chance of completing these courses in the hopes that they will be applied to the CIS certificate.
