COSC Straighterline scholarship
#1
Straighterline scholarship! I just saw Charter Oak is offering 10% off all COSC courses if you complete 4 or more SL courses. This saves a few bucks on the cornerstone and capstone! https://www.charteroak.edu/straighterline/

EDIT TO ADD: when viewed through the SL site instead of the COSC, you can see that this program exists at MANY schools. I had no idea! Cool! https://www.straighterline.com/scholarships/

Charter Oak State College has partnered with StraighterLine to offer the StraighterLine Scholarship for new students who complete at least four StraighterLine courses and want to pursue a bachelor's degree at Charter Oak State College.

Scholarship Award
In addition to the savings from completing general education courses at StraighterLine, new Charter Oak State College students who transfer in four or more courses from StraighterLine will be eligible for 10% off tuition and fees until they complete their bachelor's degree. In addition to this scholarship, Federal Financial Aid is still available to those who qualify.

Has anyone applied for this scholarship with COSC? I deposited $150 to register with COSC last week but had started four courses with Straighterline in Feb which I'm finishing up this weekend. According to my advisor, I'm not eligible because I needed to have completed the four courses before registering with COSC. I deferred to the Summer I term so I'm having a hard time understanding why I can't apply for the scholarship.
