COSC Web Site - What Does This Mean?

This was on COSC's web site.

"As of July 1, 2011, Charter Oak State College is involved in an agency consolidation with the newly-created Board of Regents for Higher Education. While the transition is taking place, please continue to check back here for up-to-date information before a new, consolidated website is launched in the near future."

Does anyone know what it means? Does it simply mean that there will be changes to the web site, or are there going to be significant changes at the school?

I have no clue, but I can tell you that at the COSC graduation, I spoke to quite a few people and didn't hear anything about changes at all. The only big change I know of is the lowering tuition.

I did a quick google search and it looks like it's something at the state level, not directly related to COSC: http://www.ctdhe.org/
