WVSOM Community Health Education Resource Person certificate
This one is by the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine's Center for Rural and Community Health. The first two levels (Wellness and Health Promotion) are already online.
I'm still on Level 1 of the training. I started it a while back but I recently came back to it. When I began the course, I had no idea that I was ever going to move to West Virginia, but here I am, waiting for the house to sell so I can move there.
Finished Degrees and Certificates:
AAS, BOG (Info Systems)---Pierpont Community and Technical College, December 2023
Certificate, Community Health Worker---Berkeley City College, December 2023
Currently:
BA, Liberal Studies/Social Sciences---Thomas Edison State University, (July 2024-present; expected graduation March 2026)
Considering:
Certificate, Human Services and Mental Health Rehabilitation---University of Maine at Presque Isle (hopefully starting in March 2026)
MA in Counseling, but I am considering all my options

I love resume decorations! I figure all these certificates can only benefit me in my future career path.

Just a heads up, folks:
If you check out the program handbook ( here), you'll see that each of the three courses comes with a certificate of completion...which you must pay for.
The handbook is two years old now, but the price at that time was $60 per certificate, making this entire program at least $180.
The learning may be free, but the certificates don't appear to be.

No need to apologize! Depending on where you live in the world, this might still be a program worth investing in!

I'm probably going to invest in it, since as of next month, I will be a resident of West Virginia!
