Can CLEP, SDC, Sophia, etc. be considered Education Credit Expenses on one's taxes? I've applied credit for them toward my degree at TESU. I was just wondering this as I'm doing my taxes right now.

CLEP, SDC, Sophia, etc. are not educational institutions as recognized by the DoE.

Generally, for educational expenses to be considered qualified for tax purposes in the United States, they must be required for enrollment or attendance at an eligible educational institution. This includes tuition and fees required for enrollment or attendance, as well as certain expenses for books, supplies, and equipment if they are required to be paid to the institution as a condition of enrollment or attendance. Student activity fees may also be considered qualified expenses if they are required for enrollment or attendance. It's always wise to verify specific eligibility criteria with the IRS or a tax professional.
