I recognize Coursera has a cornucopia of useful courses, but their customer service is terrible. I recently signed up for a free 30 day Coursera+ trial and enrolled in an IBM certificate. After completing four of seven courses, they locked my access to course 5 and 7. Numerous emails to customer service haven't gotten the courses unlocked. They keep pushing back the dates that courses 5 and 7 will be available. I think this is a trick to force you to renew.

It is getting much harder to find links for the free 30 day trial.

This trial was restricted to IBM courses but that's okay because they have a lot of great IBM courses. What's not okay is working so hard to finish the certificate quickly but having Coursera block courses 5 & 7 for almost another month.


This IBM trial is ongoing until the end of the year. I was emailed about it by Coursera.
