College Comp. VS English Comp/Modular
#1
I am completely confused on this. I have to take the English Composition CLEP but saw on my last test score sheet something about English Comp. being discontinued and being replaced with (Freshman??) College Composition. I am assuming the Comp. CLEP's that says "modular" means without essay? And what is "freshman" supposed to mean?

I am a high-school graduate that has taken one CLEP test so far and I plan to take the Composition CLEP w/ essay next (I will be sending them the TESC).

Is the College comp. what I need to be taking? Also, does it have 2 essays?

Thank you :o

Wonderful. Thank you so much! Smile
I have one other question- what is the ultimate, best place, or best material, you would suggest using to be fully prepared for the 2 essays on the College Composition CLEP? Thank you again for your help! Smile

Well I took english comp before they changed it so I don't know how much this will still apply. But I just went through specific exam feedback took note of any advice and wrote a couple practice essays from the topics people listed. But I felt confident in my essay abilities before I even started studying. I took a writing class in high school and the teacher was amazing. She really taught how to write a good essay. Anyway I know this isn't very much help. Maybe you can find some good info by searching.
