OK, I received an answer from CollegeBoard.
Basicly, they will not save essays at all, so I must request the essays be sent to a single college at the time that I take the exam.

However, if you take a hand written optional essay, the essay will be sent to the designated institution you select at the tome of testing for grading. The optional essay can be sent to only one institution.
