Has anyone completed the assignment for this course?

It is kind of confusing since I have to look at outside sources (not on SDC) to complete it. SDC needs more content to help us do the assignment.

should the program be written in JAVA?

Which degree are you going for and from which institution? I noticed you're a new member of the board, are you in NJ and looking at TESU BA Comp Sci?
I would not recommend the Comp Science 305 course as it comes in the same as the Computer Science 105 course - TESU COS 240 - Operating Systems
