CLEP has 5 answer choices and DSST has 4 making it more probable to get the answer correct.

But which one has the easiest material in their exams?
Sorry for sounding like someone who doesn't like to work hard, but I want to graduate on time. Thanks!

I took Clep Info Sys and Computer Apps (LL) and DSST Mgmt Info Systems (UL). DSST was much easier.

clep lover Wrote:Hi everyone, It depends on your prior level of knowledge in a subject. What may be easy for you could be impossible for me. That being said, many people find the CLEP Analyzing and Interpreting Literature to be quick, easy credits. Here's a thread where someone asked a similar question: http://www.degreeforum.net/general-educa...ight=gimme Good luck to you!

Obviously, the more you know about a subject, the easier the test will be. That is not what the person is asking. The person wants to know which test, in general, has the easier questions.

Had the writer asked "Which algebra exam is easier to take and prepare for, CLEP or DSST?", a more definitive answer might be offered. The reality is that every exam is different, just like the background and experience levels of the test takers. I have found the primary difference is the number of answers offered. CLEP has 5 while DSST's have 4. I don't know if that makes DSST's easier as typically one of the answers on a CLEP exam question is obviously wrong and your left with 4 choices anyway.
