He everyone just passed a DSST today first one in Two years! the test center told me that I would have to apply and pay to have my DSST score mailed over to my community College. They mentioned that the policy had changed and the reporting was extra. I've been out of the loop for a while so what has been your experience lately?

Congrats! I am interested to know this as well. I entered my school's code when I took the exams and they said they'd report the scores, but I took my first exams on 5/13 and my school still hasn't received anything.

It usually takes about three weeks to hit your transcript at Excelsior. It's also end of semester time at colleges so they are fairly busy right now.

I don't think this is correct. Are you an enrolled student somewhere? Because you should have been able to put in a school code and have the score sent directly. If you are not an enrolled student, then the info was correct - you can pay to have a transcript sent later on.

When I took Principles of Finance in January, DSST sent my score to TESU without any extra charge. It took two weeks for TESU to post the transcript as received.

Back in January, DSST said they were going to change their policy. I posted this in a FB group back then:
"Important change from DSST: In the past, students had the option to send score results for free to the institution of their choice at the time of testing. Beginning February 28 2017, DSST will introduce a $30 transcript fee for requests to send official score results to designated educational institutions."
I can't confirm that this change went through because I can't seem to find the above information online anymore ... but I certainly had reason to post that originally.
