How many classes can I take on Sophia, and Study? Which are the easiest? If I have another health set back, then I will retire next year, which means I will need to find a Job for medical benefits.

My first question is - if you do retire from your current position/career (I assume you're an EMT), what is the next job/career you'd be interested in?  The answer to that should help you answer what type of degree you should pursue; the good news you have options.  Those options will likely all be able to reached at an affordable price.

I wasn’t impressed with TESU Criminal Justice as I have heard that it’s a little tedious to navigate. I don’t necessarily desire a crim/justice degree if that’s not the easiest to obtain.

I wasn't asking because I was recommending a CJ degree (I'm not, as it's not able to be gotten with alt-credit), but simply to see if you have a cert that will earn you credits.  If you click on the link and choose Law Enforcement, then you'll see what I'm talking about - a bunch of them are worth credit.  For instance, the New Jersey Municipal Police Basic Course for Police Officers is worth a total of 24cr if you earned it between 1/1/2000-6/30/15.  You can use all of those credits in the BALS degree in a myriad of ways.

So, go check to see if the cert you have is one of the ones listed so you can see if you have any credits!!  And then report back.
