I am taking the CIS-107 TECEP this month. It will be my first tecep. I took the practice test, since I have a background in IT, I did fairly well on the general questions along with the security related questions. However I did poorly on the application questions, which includes Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Has anyone taken it recently? If so, It would be helpful to know what material you may have used to pass. Should I purchase the book for the course?

I did not do any studying for this exam, and passed it easily. If you have an IT background (I do not have that), you should be totally fine

Your question is a little confusing. The TECEP is from TESU, they're RA, thus the credits you receive will be RA.

Not sure what you mean by that. Have you got a link?
Yes, TECEPs are proctored. They use ProctorU. They're not the greatest proctor but they're also not the worst either.

DEAC institutions and other Nationally Accredited Faith based also use Proctored exams, if you're asking about proctored exams, all schools will have some sort of proctoring, it doesn't matter if they are NA or RA schools. TECEPS/UEXCELS and other ACE/NCCRS exams will have a provider to go through your exams with...
