Doing the happy dance - got an A on the Foundations of Gerontology ECE this morning!
#1
I didn't have a lot of time to study - work has been crazy and I had to take it by the 26th. I finished in about 50 minutes, had 130 questions, and got an A.

I knew a lot about health services, programs, etc for the older generation, but had to really focus on the research methods. One thing about this test is that if you don't know the answer, it's really hard to narrow it down to the best answer.

I used InstantCert (woohoo!) and the ECE practice exams.

I'll post more in specific feedback later this week.

PAA is next in two weeks and TECEP Abnormal Psych sometime in the next two weeks - after it arrives at the proctor.

Also, someday maybe a MS in Forensic Psychology, just for fun.   Oh, and a BS in Animal Behavior.  And, maybe when I'm 85 a PhD in something fun.

Drill down on the non-overlapping content for Psychology of Adulthood and Aging and I think you'll have just about a LOCK on an A in Psychology of Adulthood and Aging.

I took PAA and Gero within the past year. I'd reasoned that Gero would be the greater challenge and I'd build up to it progressively. I received an A in PAA, but would I make the cut for an A in the Gero?

I did. But you already have the A in Gero! You'll own PAA. Smile

It's nice to know that you were able to pass by using the flashcards. I thought about taking an ECE was going to buy a recommended book.
