I think TESC awards credit for all ECEs. Just not a grade.

I think TESC would prefer you take TECEP's. You have to call and get an appointment with an advisor for your program to find out what they will grant. I took the ECE Intro to Literacy instruction. Excelsior recommends 6 upper level credits TESC will only give me 6 100 level credits. I will appeal it to the dean when I have a few minutes.
I have to take 2 PRAXIS II this weekend and I haven't studied yet:willynilly:

Unbelievable - how can TESC treat a course with prereqs at the 200-level (the Ed Psych CLEP is counted as PSY-230-CE) as a 100-level course?

Quote:"The examination assumes a knowledge of content that would be included in such lower-level education courses as Foundations of Education, Educational Psychology, Orientation to Teaching, and Instructional Planning. A knowledge of child development, some learning theory, and instructional planning and implementation, as well as practicum experience, would be helpful in learning the content of the examination.

That's ridiculous! I hope I don't have trouble using the ECEs for upper level psychology requirements.
