ECE or WES for transferring credits, which is better?
#1
Hello! I just finished studying for a year outside of the US, and would like to transfer those credits to COSC. From the COSC website: "Credentials from non-U.S. colleges must be evaluated by a recognized agency prior to review by Charter Oak. The College recognizes the following agencies: Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) and World Education Services (WES)."

Does anybody know which are the better of the two? I saw one thread on here about it, but it was from 2013. Does anybody have any opinions or suggestions as to which of these two are better to go with? Thank you very much! Big Grin

Hmm, it's a coin toss for either one. They're both recommended on this board very often, especially if you're going to COSC/Excelsior/TESU or WGU as the Big 3 & WGU accept both. Just make sure to do a course-by-course evaluation and not a general evaluation. I usually recommend 4 agencies and these are two of the 4 that made my list...
In Progress: Walden MBA | TESU BA Biology & Computer Science
Graduate Certificate: Global Management & Entrepreneurship, ASU (Freebie)

Completed: TESU ASNSM Biology, BSBA (ACBSP Accredited 2017)
Universidad Isabel I: ENEB MBA, Big Data & BI, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce
Certs: 6Sigma/Lean/Scrum, ITIL | Cisco/CompTIA/MTA | Coursera/Edx/Udacity

Yeah, for those wondering, these are the 4 I recommend.
1 that is NOT NACES but does have other recognition...
3 that IS NACES, - EP (1st choice), ECE, and WES

NON NACES - Cheap/Easy/Fast, it's basically the same company!
- https://credentialevaluations.org/ or https://validential.com/

Agencies that are Members of NACES - https://www.naces.org/
My first pick actually is a newer agency.
