Rather than courses you should be looking at some CLEP and DSST exams.

If you are looking for easy courses to improve a GPA then look for a course called technology and society or something like that. It is supposed to be pretty easy and you will not have to buy any books since they provide e-books for the course. Again I have not taken this course but this is my understanding from others who have. BA/Liberal Studies, TESC 2011 AAS/Applied Electronic Studies, TESC 2010

I really enjoyed SOS-110 Living in the Information Age. No book required, you write from supplied articles and online research. The course has quizzes, discussion forum and written assignments.

They are independent study courses offered by the Emergency Management Institute which is apart of FEMA. It's supposed to take 10 hours to read through the material and take an open book exam, but I managed to finish 3 in 3 hours using the search function in the .pdf file. After reading through the material, you can look at a copy of the test, write down your answers, and then enter those answers into their online form. It usually doesn't take them long to score the exam and email a certificate of completion to you. You can then request a transcript to be sent to Thomas Edison; I'd do that after completing all the credits you need. They keep a record of what you earned by asking for your name, address, and social security number. Each course is usually worth one credit and I earned 5 over two days. It doesn't get better than that. You won't get a grade for them though just like you wouldn't with DSSTs, CLEPs, etc.
This person posted the FEMA courses currently accepted by TESC. http://www.degreeforum.net/general-educa...light=FEMA Here is the EMI website. Emergency Management Institute - FEMA Independent Study Program
