No college would give you a redo of every quiz either. Most of the alternative credit options are very different than traditional options.
At any rate, everyone is of course free to be outraged by this and choose not to use them. I disagree and think the response is overblown.
There's not much more to say. I disagree with y'all, but I don't need to keep defendimg a company I have no stake in. Use the option that works best for you. I don't want to turn this into a weird argument.
This is why it's good we have so many options these days.

I'm not outraged, just puzzled by the business model.
And you are exactly right, this is why it's good we have so many options these days.

True, but they would simply let the poor grade stand and continue with the course and calculate your final at the end.

Exactly - you could fail one quiz or test and still pass most courses in college.

You can fail EVERY quiz once and still pass this course.

Folks, you're BOTH right! Yes, it's an unusual policy and can result in the disaster of failing a course suddenly. -AND- Yes, it's not a huge hurdle and some people might well prefer it to a standard online course with no do-overs. I wouldn't hesitate to take one of these courses if I needed one, but I might pick a different provider where I had a choice.

Agreed. The good thing is that we are all aware of this policy so if we aren't worried about it we can go ahead with the course and if we think it's too much pressure then we don't have to take it.

Hi Rowan555, I think you misunderstood what I said. You have to pass the proctored final and make a 70% over all in the course to get the transfer credits.
