Does anyone know what to expect? I am preparing to start my liberal arts capstone LA 498 the first week of March.

If I remember correctly, in the first week you will select a topic and work on it throughout the course. Additionally, two to three weeks will be dedicated to collaborating with your teammates on group projects.

You'll work through modules like you did in the Cornerstone and there will be a research paper that is longer than the one in the cornerstone. You'll also have a group project that you'll contribute to weekly. It's not hard, but it is more work than the Cornerstone. The best tip is not to get behind. You want to stay ahead of things because the first few weeks are easier than in the middle and end. Once you decide on a topic for your research paper and you have the parameters to write about...start researching!
