So, my black box (actually, a Xiaomi M3 white box) died a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't fix it... I think it was the darn remote, whatever... its in the box collecting dust until I find a way to fix the remote, I was able to use my phone as a temporary remote until the app crashed too... oh wells...
After reviewing SlickDeals, I came across the sale for the 4K and the 4K Max version of this Amazon Fire TV Stick, grabbed both to see what the difference is as we have a crappy smaller 40" tv downstairs and a better/larger one upstairs. These have the Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Netflix buttons!
I don't use the other shortcut button for Disney+ as I don't subscribe to them, I only have Prime Music/Video and Netflix, there are other TV options as well, some are free which I haven't tried yet. I'll see how this is on the crappier monitor downstairs.
Just yesterday, we had our weekly family movie night and we watched Red Notice on Netflix, it's not a bad movie, neither was Free Guy which we saw the previous week, no jittery, stutter or slowness issues on either movie... I would recommend the 4K (non max) version for a monitor that's 40" or smaller, and if you want to reap the extra speed (.5 g ram, features, etc) for larger picture/better settings, the 4K max is recommended for just $10 more!
