Hi,
Due to some mismanagement on my part, my last class today have a few missed milestones so I cannot complete by tonight (BUS 200 and I did the final project first before going thru the course). Since Ill get an F for not completing in time, I was seeing if I can retake it this next semester to amend the grade. Thanks

IIRC, the failure will remain on your transcript. But you should be able to retake it. I forget who you need to talk to about it.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

I mean...the business 200 milestones are just starting the final project...just submit the completed project for each milestone right now, email the professor and let them know, and then hope they open the final for you before midnight.

Wont the retaking eliminate it from the transcript?

Nope. It will replace the grade for GPA purposes, but it will show on the transcript as having been retaken to replace the grade.

No. The course will always remain on your transcript. Your GPA will only include the second time you take it. It won't include a 0.0 factored in once you receive your grades next session.

Got it. Like I said it was a silly mistake and since Ive learned to not make it again in the future, I look forward to having to give an explaination on the failure and how I learned and improved from it.
Thank You All!!!!!!

Don't worry about it! I have a bunch of Fs and Xs (which are an F because I didn't withdraw and didn't continue attending classes). No one has ever asked me what happened. I have 5 degrees including an MBA and I'm working on my second master's now. Those grades didn't stop me from continuing my education. And no one said a word about them at any of the grad schools I applied to.

What letter grades are there at UMPI Your Pace again? Couldn't you email them and see what other letter grades other than F they can provide you? Say a W for withdraw or I for incomplete?

W is only if you withdraw by the deadline. I is not used for courses not completed by the deadline unless there is a problem. Just not finishing a course isn't a problem. Everyone is made aware of the deadlines well in advance. UMPI is firm on the deadlines. If the OP had been waiting for the Milestones to be graded, then maybe they could request an I, but if they waited this late, then won't get it because all coursework is due by 11:59 pm Eastern.
