How many graded credits do graduate schools want to see?

For those of us who are doing things like transferring 113 credits into an excelsior degree (just to name one example) will a low number of graded credits prove a problem with graduate school GPA requirements?

It depends on the school. Every school is different. Some individual programs have additional requirements as well.

My advice is if you’re just starting out, then inquire. If you’ve already got 100 ungraded, then don’t ask. Just apply and see what happens.

Also some states have additional requirements. For example Virginia requires 90 graded grad credits before doctorate.
