This is an addition to my previous post where I'm spending countless hours on the phone with the school and every time I speak to someone I get a different answer.
I amended my 2014 tax return in September 2015. After speaking to the IRS they are approximately 345 days behind on these returns... I keep speaking to the financial aid department and I get a different story everytime I call. I am always promised a follow email with written confirmation and then they never show up in my email inbox. I am always told that it can only happen after we hang up. I also request that my account is notated with the conversation which also never happens. Every time I call back I'll say yesterday I spoke with Jane Doe and the response is, I have no idea who that is.
I request supervisors and they seem to not know what I should do in this situation. Any suggestions? I am about to check off the option that I did not submit a 2014 tax return, it seems like this will be on the only solution to have them process my financial aid without a tax return. Any suggestions?
