Kind of too bad that it's for those over 60 since those folks are close to retirement or are already retired. Hopefully they will expand the program in the future.

IMO programs like this should start at age 50. It could be just the motivation for many who regretfully never completed their degree and those who contemplate career change at that age but don’t where to start , as well as people who get pushed out of their job because of their age.

Some states already have a 60 or older "free" tuition option. I think it's great for seniors when there are classes available, they can take whatever that interests them. Most classes will require prerequisites and also require that there be spaces available, I hope to see most if not all states follow this... As I'd like to take freebie courses when I get to that age (but will focus on other things such as family, travel, etc...)

Not everyone over 60 is close to retirement or already retired.  Many are finding the hiring or promotional process is tough enough...in part because of exactly this sort of discriminatory thinking...and are counting on a new degree to give them a leg up.
