First Time Clep Failed :-((

Ok I thought I was prepared to take this test, I read most of the stuff I could possibly read on the internet and even bought tons of study materials but I scored just 49 in my Intro Sociology today. So far I have a 3.5 GPA in school and I am worried if there will be a big fat FAILED marked on my college transcript. :-(( I wasted money and time only to fail.

Guys, do they mark fail in the transcript?

Hey it's okay, I studied very hard for this test along time ago and even took out several books from the library, granted I didn't know about this site at the time but I failed with a 47. I ended up just taking the stinking class lol. Everyone fails some and passes some. No worries.

P.S I failed Here's to your Health, which many people consider one of the easiest tests out there.

Shoot, I failed English Comp with Essay and Analyzing and Interpreting Literature! You win some and you lose some. Try studying with less interruptions and when you're wide awake. It helped me tons! Good Luck on your next test!

I don't think they do. It's a pass or fail exam, unless your college gives it a weight. Call and ask.

failed with stinking 49 today in human growth and development... i was siked thought i passed with flying colors, guess not... taking a intro to educational psychology thursday so i can graduate @!

Depends on your school.

If Excelsior, contact and advise them you want it removed now before January. They will likely oblige. In january they become more strict.

I dont know about others. Since it is a transfer exam I don't think anyone will list it if you don't pass it. Doesn't make sense to do so .

Usually, CLEP/DANTES are handled just like transfer credits-- if they're good (passing grades), they're added to your records. If not good scores (the equivalent of a failed transfer course), they will be ignored.

I've failed both Intro to Business Law the first time I took it, as well as College Algebra. Neither of these ever showed up on my Excelsior transcript.

I wouldn't be too concerned unless something has changed in the last two months.
