Has anyone applied to the Fort Hays Graduate School? I am curious about their attitude toward non-traditional Bachelor's degree holders. By the time I graduate, I will only have 30 credits of graded coursework on my transcript because the rest is CCAF, CLEP, and DSST. Because I have so few graded credits, I have a 4.0 but with only a handful of courses that isn't very impressive. Anyway, I am window shopping grad schools and Fort Hays would be my first choice.

Considering that they're a military friendly SOC school, I don't see why they wouldn't be receptive of your degree. Where you looking at the MLS w/ Management Info Systems concentration? The cost is pretty good too apparently.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

I am actually looking at the Master of Professional Studies with a concentration in web development. It will either be that or Instructional Technology.

Their own undergraduate school accepts
many CLEPs and
DSSTs, and
ACE-evaluated military credit at least. FHSU should be one of the most natural schools for a Big Three graduate to move on to.

Can someone break down fort hays for me? do you have to have a bachelors degree in order to complete a mba with them? Please break it all the way down for me if possible

Unfortunately, that's one of the requirements of any Master's degree. I would be very careful about getting an MBA from a school that did not require a Bachelor's. Not sure what you mean by "break it all the way down", though. Why not request an information packet? I did for the MLS Literary Arts degree and it was helpful and informative.
