I think you're being generous with 5 minutes. Looks like less than 3 minutes. Copy paste annnnnd done. Yeah that looks like a certificate.  Rolleyes

Including the fake holder corner bits? If so, that's got to be one of the worst certificates I've ever seen. It's only slightly better than Saylor's free certificates, and that's not saying much.

Hey Rachel!

Sorry about that.. I scanned it at high resolution in black and white and then had to scale it down to post it. Unfortunately, it basically does look like that IRL. The only difference is that the date, eRasmussen name & logo, and fake holder corner bits are dark yellow. Very disappointing, even for a free certificate.

You don't need an actual certificate to list a certificate on your resume (I know that sounds silly, but I think you know what I mean! Blush ) so I don't see that as a big problem. Also, I disagree with the others above me. With a little color, I really like that certificate design.

The customer support issue is concerning however. It's a good thing that they decided to make the certificates permanently free, or that would be absolutely infuriating.

No Connecticut (CT) on the drop down list either.

I realize these are free but what seems to be the consensus on getting one of these, is there any value to these?

I think the value is really just to boost your resume, if is relevant.  Like maybe it’s an area that wasn’t covered in your degree but maybe useful in the job you want.  Or just for personal development/trying out a subject area you think you want to try out before going for a degree.

I'm bumping this thread because there are some members who have shown interest in free Public Health courses with free certificates this week. Rasmussen has two that may be of interest.
