Hi, this is my first post. Love the site. I passed the Eng comp with essay clep with no problem. Just signed up payed my money. Left with 6 college credits.
The part that is so hilarious is I quit school and went to work full time at 14. So an eigth grade graduate got college credit 10 years later with no absolutely no warm up! ![]() Jessi

I'm not sure if you're interested in FEMA credits, but I knocked 5 of these out in one day (while at work LOL) without studying. A lot of them are just common sense, like the communications or the leadership courses.

I thought this would be an interesting thread to bring back. When I was starting out I took the math ones first since that's my strong suit, but after that I relied on the free clep prep difficulty list for which tests to pass cold. That list was good, but every list is going to be a little biased toward the author's interests. It would be neat to see what the people here say they passed cold, along with their strong suit to give some perspective.
This is especially helpful to those who don't have to pay for the tests and just want to get their feet wet. Military folks are always looking for an easy one to take last minute before their performance report closes out! These are my "cold" exams: College Mathematics College Algebra Fundamentals of College Algebra Precalculus Information Systems and Computer Applications Introduction to Computing Environment and Humanity Here's to Your Health Introduction to Business Personal Finance Analyzing and Interpreting Literature
TESU BSBA in General Management
CCAF AAS in Computer Science Technology Resources used: CLEP, DSST, Penn Foster, Sophia, StraighterLine, TEEX, NFA, ALEKS, The Institutes

Analyzing and Interpreting Literature was the only one I really took cold. (Disclaimer: I did take the official CLEP practice test first since I already had the book - I scored about 95%, scanned a list of terms and took the real thing.) As others on here have said, the money and six month wait to retake them have been a rather strong deterrent.
