It looks like Gale provides two different types of education courses.
I signed up for a couple free courses at my local library in 2018/2019. And thanks to this forum, I went down a rabbit trail today...
Gale Courses at Libraries
Ed2go at Colleges

I saw that my local community college and 2nd community college offer ed2go classes. I did see one college offer a Credly badge from an ed2go certificate WITH other requirements. I didn't find any other ed2go course with a Credly badge.

- For patrons of the library
- Similar to the ed2go classes, but shorter in length (24 contact hours or 6 weeks).
- non-credit + no transcript
- certificate from the library
Ed2go at Colleges
- For students and community patrons
- Longer in length and include certificate pathways
- non-credit + no transcript
- certificate from the college
- can include a voucher for an exam
