Probably easier to prove that he physically sexually abused women. They could argue that they didn't physically kill the elderly in nursing homes.

He forced nursing homes to accept active Covid cases even though everyone was telling him it was a terrible idea. Thousands of elderly died in NY alone, from this policy. He's 100% responsible. Then, he and his office tried to cover up the numbers. It's infuriating.

And then he wrote a book patting himself on the back about it.

So here's my take. He resigns before the investigation concludes in hopes that they're sufficiently satisfied that they drop the investigation. He goes into the private sector for a few years and then resurfaces to run for some other public office. It's a classic scumbag move.

The investigation into his sexual harassment has concluded and he was found to have sexually assaulted 11 women. There's no coming back from this. Al Franken did far less and was forced to resign quickly. NYC isn't thrilled with Cuomo these days and that's his people.

Yes, you're right about the investigation. And here is the report
https://ag.ny.gov/sites/default/files/20...report.pdf
You're also right about Al Franken. I haven't written him off yet though. He could still pop up in 5 or 6 years and run for some sort of public office. America is big on redemption and second chances. If they play their cards right they might still be able to salvage some sort of political career. If they don't there is certainly a long line of people ready to take their place.
